Alamo Drafthouse Cinema
The Alamo Drafthouse Cinema offers a high-quality moviegoing experience with a smart marriage of talking photos, delicious eats and beverages, and notorious anti-cell-phone caution. Featuring first-run films and also independent works, the cinema’s concept combines theater with dining in a casual environment of classic movie decorating scheme, stonily accented walls, and stamped concrete floors for extra convenient walking. Treat your day or a friend accidentally adhered to your elbow to one of the variety of films from a few of the top movie studios. Every theater is organized with alternating rows of seats and bench-style tables stocked with menus, paper, and pencils. Viewers have the option of purchasing premium beers, wines, and an assortment of delicious eats-which are certainly not priced-up to accommodate first-run costs-from a Philly cheesesteak meal and a Moonstruck margherita pizza to pecan cake and Milk Duds. In the Alamo Drafthouse, ads are never performed before feature films; rather, the cinema substitutes numerous pre-show short films. Addictive texters and cell phone talkers beware-disturbing other audience users can get you a warning or possibly a humiliating trip to the dunking stool.

Mondo is proud to present Tyler Bates bombastic score to this summer’s equally bombastic and hilarious movie DEADPOOL 2 . Coming off popular from his previous collaborations along with director David Leitch, composer Tyler Bates (Atomic Blonde, John Wick) has joined forces with Leitch once more bring his impeccable abilities to the enormous and meta planet of the merc with a mouth. Legendary in scope, but willing to maintain on the joke, Bates’ score virtually interacts with the plot of the movie – bouncing from fast paced motion set pieces, choruses proclaiming “Holy Shit Balls, ” to soft, and sincere moments of clearness. Much like the filmmaking on display, it is tougher than it sounds to perfect this stability of tone.

Even after decades of A CHRISTMAS STORY running on TV pretty much 24/7 for two weeks leading up to Christmas, there’s something so magical about this film that we always catch ourselves watching it until the end every time we click past it while channel surfing. But as much fun as it can be to watch this holiday treat on the ol’ boob tube, nothing can compare to seeing it projected up on the big screen while being surround by dozens of other fans as awesome as you who all understand how incredibly dangerous it can be to stick your tongue on a metal pole in the winter.
Join us for a family adventure on THE POLAR EXPRESS.
Tom Hanks and director Robert Zemeckis (FORREST GUMP; CAST AWAY) reunite for THE POLAR EXPRESS an inspiring adventure based on the beloved children’s book by Chris Van Allsburg. When a doubting young boy takes an extraordinary train ride to the North Pole, he embarks on a journey of self-discovery that shows him that the wonder of life never fades for those who believe.
We believe….do you?
Ranked among LOVE, ACTUALLY and ELF, THE HOLIDAY has found its way to the candy-cane-crème-de-la-crème of Christmas movies. It has everything you need: gratuitously intertwined love stories, rural England, the seemingly made up (but actually real) job of a movie trailer producer, the ever-elusive Shannyn Sossamon, and of course, Jack Black as a romantic lead coming to fill your heart with tenacious glee.
The story begins when a dumped and depressed Iris (Kate Winslet) agrees to swap homes with similarly unlucky in love Amanda (Cameron Diaz). Iris finds herself in a palatial Hollywood mansion while Amanda navigates the lanes of a picture-perfect English village. While each suffers from a minor case of culture shock, both of these lovelorn ladies get involved with local lads (Jack Black, Jude Law). Soon, both women must decide what to do with these new relationships as time melts away on their pre-arranged house swap.
In our universe, there’s one Spider-Man. But in Miles Morales’ universe, Peter Parker is just one of many. Miles is another – and the main character of SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE. Upon discovering his powers, Miles begins learning the ropes from an older Peter Parker, going up against powerful villains including Prowler and Kingpin. But crime-fighting isn’t all Miles has to deal with, as high school life presents its own challenges.
SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE pushes the boundaries of animation to bring the wall-crawler to life in a whole new way. Rendered like a living illustration and featuring the voice talents of Shameik Moore (DOPE; THE GET DOWN), Hailee Steinfeld (EDGE OF SEVENTEEN), Jake Johnson (NEW GIRL), and Mahershala Ali (MOONLIGHT), SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE feels like stepping into a comic book.
Join us for this special Sing-Along screening, featuring subtitles for all of the songs (as if you don’t have them memorized already).

Along with a company of extraordinary individuals he recruits from all walks of life, Barnum creates a showcase of talent that eventually becomes the traveling Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.
